What this site is

Darts Near Me is an informational directory. It tells you where we believe there is a dartboard, and what we have established about food, sports and dart leagues at that bar. It is not a booking service, we take no reservations, and we sell nothing.

Accuracy, honestly

A dartboard is a physical object in a bar that changes hands, gets refurbished and closes. Every listing here traces back to a named source: a league roster, the bar’s own website, a dated review. Some of those sources are older than others.

Read a “no” on food, sports or a league carefully. It means no source we trust told us otherwise, not that we went and confirmed there is none. We keep those two apart in our own records and we will correct a listing the moment someone tells us better.

That is a description of our method, not a warranty. Boards get removed the week after we check. Call ahead if the dartboard is the reason you are going.

The rating

The one, two or three darts beside a bar are our opinion of how much of a darts night it offers, not a count of the boards in the room, worked out from what we verified and from how people who have thrown there rank it. It is not a review of the bar, not a safety or quality certification, and not something any bar can pay to change.

Rankings you make are yours. Any note you attach stays private to you. By ranking a bar you allow us to use your placement, counted together with everyone else’s, in that bar’s public rating. Remove the ranking and it stops counting. Rankings made by accounts created to push one bar up or another down will be discarded along with their effect.

Contributions

Reporting a change or submitting a bar we are missing takes an email address, and an account if you have one: a report is a claim about a real room, and an address is what lets us weigh a second report from the same person differently from two reports from two people. By submitting one you confirm the information is truthful and yours to share, and you grant us permission to use it in the directory. We may edit, decline or remove submissions. A report that a board is gone is reviewed before it changes a listing rather than applied automatically.

That address is stored with what you send as its signature and is never published. Submitting is your statement that the report is accurate to the best of your knowledge. A report made through an account that is not yours, or made to manipulate a listing, may be discarded along with any listing change it caused.

Prize draws and marketing

Marketing email goes only to addresses that have separately opted in, and opting in or out never affects your reports. Any draw we run will state its own rules when announced, no purchase is ever necessary, and every email includes an unsubscribe link.

Acceptable use

Do not submit false information, automate submissions or rankings, scrape the site in bulk, or attempt to manipulate a bar’s rating. The rating is not for sale and cannot be bought; attempts to game it are the one thing here that will get access blocked.

Bars, names and trademarks

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any bar listed. Bar names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners and appear here for identification only. If you own a bar and want its listing corrected or removed, write to us and we will do it.

Links and third parties

Directions open in Google Maps or Apple Maps, and a bar’s website is its own. We do not control those destinations and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or practices.

Drinking

The bars listed here serve alcohol and admit adults only. Nothing on this site encourages you to drink, and you are responsible for getting home safely.

Our content

The compilation is ours: which bars we list, what we established about them, and the research behind it. You are welcome to link to any page here. Republishing the dataset wholesale is not permitted without permission.

No warranty and limits

The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, and we do not promise it will be available or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or from a visit to a bar you found through it. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, in which case they apply only as far as the law allows.

Changes

These terms may change, and the date at the top of this page will change with them. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the revised terms.
